AUDITING THE INTERNAL AUDITORS FOR EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY – THE IIA IPPFA 2017 PERSPECTIVES.

Phase 7 – Implementation support involves supporting the internal audit function to embed the actions agreed on the implementation road maps. This will require training and handholding support and monitoring the results of actions taken and providing the feedback through reports to the various stakeholders. This ensures that the internal audit function own their responsibilities and authorities. for moving the internal audit to the desired performance levels.

Phase 8 – Post implementation support is done as a follow-up with the internal audit function on call of basis to support them on the areas they have challenges moving on with the implementations.
