VALUE-ADD TEMPLATES FOR REPORTING KEY RISKS & CONTROLS TO THE BUSINESS MANAGERS & LEADERS.

Conclusion

Global survey revealed that the usage of data from 2018 proved that data has become the most valuable asset in the world than oil. How far an organisation can go largely depends on the quality of data available to it, quality of information derivable from the data and how well the organisation is able to use both for the best interest of the organisation.

Assurance service providers should be well prepared to support their  organisation leverage the valuable information stored in the pool of the data assets within and outside their organisation. Part of the key responsibilities of the executive management, boards and board committees include being knowledgeable on exactly what they want in the top list reports about risks and controls in the organisations they work for and being open and honest to demand for them from the assurance providers, and also asking the tough and right questions on what has been provided to them i order to get the best values and responses to strengths the quality and timeliness of decision making. These templates will help to provide good start for stakeholders’ engagements and open discussions between the assurance providers and leaderships at all levels to clarify needs and expectations and drive for the achievement
